Pantheon Lab
Pantheon Lab, a Hong Kong-based startup that specializes in creating AI-driven digital humans, has completed a seed round of funding, with New World Development's open innovation platform, Eureka Nova, among its investors, announced on 21 Mar 2023. This is the first time the company has received funding from a property developer. The two companies have also signed an agreement to explore the use of Generative Pre-training (GPT) technology to create AI digital humans for various projects, assisting the property developer in expanding its PropTech development.
Pantheon Lab will use the funds to expand its scale, boost technology research and product development, and strengthen business applications. Under the partnership agreement, Pantheon Lab will explore the use of bespoke AI digital humans for commercial applications based on the project nature and business needs of New World Development. The company's CEO and co-founder, Ivan Lau, said the team would explore the use of AI digital humans in various New World projects to assist PropTech development in different areas, improve service quality and efficiency, and contribute to sustainable development initiatives.
The funding will enable Pantheon Lab to advance its technology research and development, allowing AI digital humans to be better applied to the commercial level. It also provides New World Development with the technology to accelerate its PropTech development in the areas of applying AI digital human in property management and customer services.
